About 4 years ago, I woke up in the middle of the night to sketch the idea for the Magconn. I had been feeling uncertain at the time about the wireless charging technologies (e.g. Qi and A4WP), because they generated high heat and held a low energy efficient status. This was a strenuous period for me. Unlike green-marked automobiles and high, energy-efficient household electronics, charging devices seemed to be headed a different direction. The devices exchanged convenience for their energy loss, and I could not justify one over the other – thus, leading me to hope for a better solution.

Around 2.3 billion smart phones exist on the earth today. How many power stations would we need if all of the smart phones lost 30% of its energy for charging? Furthermore, what affects would the loss of energy have to our environment? So it seems that in search for meeting environmental needs and customer needs, I woke up, opened a memo pad, and drew a magnet.

I want to present Magconn Technology. Like with the current wireless technologies, I believe this technology will give the same user-friendly experience, but with the addition of helping our earth! These 4-years of research has been an appreciative one for me as the company launches this site. We can all do something to make the world a better place to live.
